Teach 313

We believe we it is our duty to make Detroit the best city in America for teachers. Teach 313 will move the needle by focusing on the recruitment and overall quality of life of teachers in Detroit. How do we plan to make Detroit a great place to teach? By ensuring a high quality of life for every Detroit educator. This includes creating a central hub for resources, incentives, and career opportunities with our online platform and app. We will take some of the guesswork and searching out of having a thriving career in Detroit. Teach 313 will also encourage the business community to get engaged and create unique offerings to help make teaching more affordable and equitable. We will convene educators through an ambassador ambassador cohort annually and uplift additional professional development opportunities and events. Teach 313 will focus on creating an ecosystem that supports the personal development and quality of life for our educators at an individual level. As we empower our champions, we expect to see a real systemic change for our youth, in our communities, and in our city.
