I can: * assess the level your child is currently working at * plan the next steps to help them move forward * work in small groups as talk is a proven factor to help develop understanding * use games and activities to develop skills in a fun and engaging way What does tuition with Teach My Child look like? * Sessions are 1 hour per week * All sessions are £25 * Recap core skills previous learning * Teach new skills using real examples pictures and images Why pick me? * Nearly 20 years teaching experience * Current system failed my severely sight-impaired son * Teach Maths at the pace of the child for the child NOT for tests or league tables * Training and experience has given me the tools to help children in a variety of ways * I hated Maths at school as my confidence was torn down - now I am nurturing and determined to help children enjoy Maths Having taught the full primary age range I can definitely say a clear picture in your head is crucial - no matter what age you are! When your child comes home from school crying because they don't understand something in Maths and you can't help versus your child finishing an online session with me smiling and saying they love Maths and can't wait to go again.
