Team GCR is a motor racing team that seeks to uniquely combine professionalism with enthusiasm. Formed in 2008 by partners Robin Sherwood and Mark Stokes, Team GCR has successfully competed at high levels of National and International motorsport, including the Ginetta G50 Cup and the FIA European GT4 Cup. As a young team, Team GCR are proud to be right at the forefront of modern GT racing, with numerous podium successes both in the UK and across Europe, and accolades including pole positions and fastest laps Currently focused on both Sprint and Endurance racing, Team GCR enjoy close cooperation with Ginetta Cars, and can operate across multiple championships, including the Ginetta GT Supercup, Britcar, the British GT Championship, and the FIA European GT4 Cup. Team GCR's engineering pedigree spans multiple marques including BMW, Audi and Volkswagen. This includes motorsport engineering for Volkswagen and SEAT Works Rally Teams in both British and World Rally Championships. Team personnel have further expertise in motorsport engineering including Formula 3, and the Le Mans 24 Hour Race. At a business level, our directors have extensive commercial experience of running motorsport programmes and have held positions including Marketing Director of Land Rover and Rover Cars.
