Team Inferno is a Supermileage Team from Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute Of Technology, Bangalore founded in the year 2011. The Team aims at excelling at the SHELL ECO MARATHON, a global competition challenging student teams around the world to design, build, test and drive ultra-energy-efficient vehicles. The Team is ranked 3rd in INDIA in the 2018 edition of Shell Eco Marathon held at Chennai, India. Team Inferno was adjudged winners in the Safety Category of the recently concluded Virtual Off-Track Awards of Shell Eco Marathon Asia 2020.
