Team Perianth Racing as the name suggests is the Student Formula Racing of NIT Jalandhar. The team was formed in 2010 when some enthusiastic students decided to leverage its engineering knowledge. Student from different branches slogged together to produce their first ever cost effective Racing Car in 2010. It is a platform that gives wings to vision of many students and helps them in developing their technical as well as soft skills. Team Perianth Racing participates in many racing events like Supra SAE, Formula Bharat, etc. It constantly hits the list of top 10 best designs in Supra SAE India and 3rd among NITs in Formula Bharat. The team is also lauded for having the smallest engine and 2nd lightest to run in endurance events.
