Tech Education Fund

In today’s world, technology and artificial intelligence are reshaping every aspect of life and work. Access to tech education is the key to opportunity — yet for many talented students from Mongolia, financial barriers make that opportunity feel out of reach. Tech Education Fund (TEF) was founded by a board members including Shuree Gootiiz, Dolgor Ploetz, Buyana Khaltarkhuu, Sainaa Sandag, and Layton Croft. They came to the United States about 25 years ago with little financial cushion but a big dream. An incredible community of generous people supported them with scholarships and encouragement — support that changed their lives and opened doors to opportunities. Inspired by the generosity that once helped them, they created the Tech Education Fund to empower the next generation of Mongolian students, who are pursuing studies in technology, STEM, and AI fields in the United States. Together, we bring a wealth of experience, mentorship, and commitment to helping students thrive. TEF provides financial support, mentorship, and community connections to help students overcome financial challenges, gain cutting-edge skills, and become part of the global tech and AI workforce. Our vision is a future where Mongolian talent contributes meaningfully to innovation worldwide — and brings that experience home to strengthen communities and inspire the next generation. Together, we can empower more Mongolian youth to learn, lead, and shape the future of technology and society.
