Techecole - Science Workshops

We want to interst and motivate young students by example to choose science and technology related studies and careers. More young students should choose career in science and technology. This project aims at transmitting enthusiasm and interest to the kids. The lectures and the hands-on experiences create a network between the schools, the pupils and the participating professionals at a very early stage - which did not exist at all previously. Graduating classes of secondary schools are offered participation in the Tech'Ecole program. For each participating class a program of 9-10 lectures given by professionals in science and high tech throughout the school year is set up. The professionals are recruited as volunteers from universities, public organizations and private companies. They present their profession and their enthusiasm and motivate the kids to take up a career in science and technology professions. The lectures offer a maximum of hands-on experiences and creates a network between schools, pupils and professionals.
