Technology For Geelong Inc

Technology for Geelong Inc.’ is a not-for-profit incorporated association that INSPIRES, INFORMS, INITIATES and IGNITES digital INNOVATION, INCLUSION and IMPACT in the G21, Greater Geelong and Barwon regions of Victoria, Australia. Launched as a community group with an inaugural event in June 2019, with the support of the Victorian Government, Regional Development Victoria and Runway Geelong, Technology for Geelong Inc. has since incorporated, and delivered multiple Tech MeetUp events, and 5 funded sessions as part of the Victorian Government's 2019 and 2020 Digital Innovation Festival, with the multiple supporters, including Geelong Manufacturing Council. On 1 October, 2020, Tech for Geelong's new website, with new membership and content offerings is going live, ahead of the launch of its flagship #RISE2020/21 Regional Innovation Support & Engagement Programme. This Programme will inform, inspire, initiate and ignite action in key pillars, including innovation, digital inclusion, tech capacity building and social impact. In 2021, Tech for Geelong will also launch the inaugural Regional Innovation Awards, to inspire and celebrate survival through innovation.
