TecnoPilates was established in 2008 by Paolo Piccolo – an entrepreneur and designer, founder and owner of the company and of the brand – whose idea was to design and build Classical Pilates equipment, drawing strictly on the authentic, original concept of the father of the method: Joseph Pilates. Starting with the production of the first Reformer, the whole range of equipment for Classical Pilates from TecnoPilates was entirely conceived and produced in-house, using the latest design technology (3D CAD). Working synergistically with major networks in the world of fitness and wellness – including “PowerPilates”, “The Pilates Standard” and “TruePilates” – the R&D department at TecnoPilates constantly expands its knowledge and skills, thanks to the ongoing exchange of information with certified expert trainers renowned in the Pilates world. All equipment is produced strictly following the technical specifications originally laid down by Joseph Pilates. TecnoPilates products stand out for the excellent construction materials used, ranging from anodized aluminium to beech glulam, from birch to the very best in faux leather.
