About TEDxBohaiBay TEDxBohaiBay is founded in 2013, located in Tianjin of China. It is a non-profit conference solely for serving the public interests voluntarily. We collaborate with academic institutes, companies, media agencies and public associates to promote and advocate positive, inspirational and outstanding ideas through organizing events in public speaking, presentation, out-door activities and other performances to gather and spread new and innovative ideas. Our Team Our team is a diversified group, joint by students from overseas and local universities and professional experts from international and local corporations working in various industrial sectors, all with full spirits of spreading positive energies to public audiences. Our Vision We believe in ideas worth spreading. Our mission We gather leaders from different professions, and spreading excellent ideas to the world. We connect curious souls and people who love and value ideas. We reach out to inspire people to learn, share and engage close conversations about ideas that have the potential and power to make a difference in our lives, in our world and in Tianjin. We share ideas worth spreading from China to the world through the global TEDx community, and serve as a focal point for the TEDx community and TEDxers who live in and visit Tianjin. We operate under a non-commercial license from TED to independently organised TED-style idea events in Tianjin.
