TEDx brings the spirit of TED’s mission of ideas worth spreading to local communities around the globe. TEDxCoventry tribe is made of a diverse group of inspirational & curious individuals who embark together on TEDx journey to create an experience inspired by TED and the city we adore. The TEDx Program is independently organised and designed to help communities, organisations and individuals to spark conversation and connection through local TED-like experiences. Consequently, this event is completely non-profit, having been planned and made a reality by a group of dedicated volunteers who really embrace and care about the program’s philosophy – ideas worth spreading. Our tribe is productive, proactive and positive and is driven by their passion. Our tribe comes from all shapes & forms & bring their expertise from the world of community, IT, finance, charity business and everything in between. Our vision and mission is to awaken thoughts, to engage in diverse & inclusive dialogues, to have constructive debates and thought provoking discussions which stays in minds & brings change. Together, we seek out the most inspiring and innovative solutions that go beyond limitations, beyond labels, pushing boundaries to create the kind of world we all want to live in. The ultimate brain spa experience – TEDx Coventry 2020 will give you the unique opportunity to listen to inspirational speakers that spark deep conversation, thought provoking discussion and inspiration over a day. Live performances and presenters will immerse you in the utmost TEDx experience. The event, themed Revive, will be showcased at The Belgrade Theatre, showcasing once rebooted what this City meant to its dwellers and for those who adopted it as their home.
