TEDx is a global phenomenon of self-organized events that bring together thought leaders, business executives, students and philanthropists. The idea of a TEDx Event is to give leading speakers with mind-blowing ideas a stage to speak, share knowledge and inspire an audience. The conference started out in 1984 bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then, its scope has become even broader. TED talks are filmed and published through the official TED channels, reaching millions all around the world. What is TEDxDIT? TEDxDIT is the local program of self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxDIT, where x = independently organized TED event. TEDxDIT is committed to gathering international leaders in a yearly conference taking place at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology in Bavaria that aim to spark thought-provoking discussions, educate about global issues and build a strong business network at our engaging events.
