Tedxiit Mandi

IIT Mandi is committed to educating students and disseminating ideas—both collectively and individually for the greater good of society. Embodying this vision, TEDxIITMandi successfully hosted its first TEDx event in 2017 with the theme “Essence of a Changing World,” providing a vibrant platform for the exchange of impactful ideas through engaging talks. Continuing this legacy, TEDxIITMandi 2023 was held with the theme “Educating the Educated” featuring eminent speakers such as Subedar Major & Honorary Captain Yogendra Singh Yadav, Prof. Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi, former Director of IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, and IIT Mandi, and Prof. Laxmidhar Behera, Director of IIT Mandi. Building further on these successful editions, TEDxIITMandi 2026 is scheduled to be held on 13 March 2026, with the theme “Conquering the Unexpected.” The event aims to showcase stories of resilience, leadership, innovation, and adaptability in an increasingly unpredictable world.
