TEDxKish is an independently organised event licensed from TED by TEDster, Mojdeh Eskandari and organised by a network of global Iranian thinkers and innovators The TEDxKish mission, like the TED mission, is to propagate Ideas Worth Spreading; to inform and inspire. Our more specific vision for TEDxKish is to bring visibility to the great Persian culture and spirit of empathy and optimism, and be a leading platform and pipeline for the propagation of great ideas, storytelling, creativity and actionable innovation of Iranians with the rest of the world; to create and foster a sense of global and connected community amongst the people and organisations who gather around this event; to provide a cultural focus and impetus for conversation and debate. TED is a US based not-for-profit enterprise devoted to the propagation of Ideas Worth Spreading. TED started out in 1984 as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment & Design. Started as a four-day conference in California 28 years ago, TED has grown to support those world-changing ideas with multiple initiatives.
