Theme: Navigating the New At TEDxLNMIIT, we celebrate the pioneers who embrace change, chart uncharted paths, and redefine the future with their ideas. “Navigating the New” is about stepping into the unknown with curiosity, courage, and vision- whether it’s revolutionary technology, shifting societal landscapes, or groundbreaking creativity. Through this theme, we highlight those who have dared to venture beyond comfort zones, crafting innovative solutions that shape tomorrow. About TED TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Initially a four-day conference in California over 30 years ago, TED has expanded globally, fostering conversations that push the boundaries of knowledge and inspire action. The two annual TED Conferences invite the world’s leading thinkers and changemakers to speak for 18 minutes or less, with many of these talks freely available at TED.com. TED speakers have included Bill Gates, Jane Goodall, Elizabeth Gilbert, Sir Richard Branson, Nandan Nilekani, Philippe Starck, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Sal Khan, and Daniel Kahneman. The annual TED Conference takes place each spring in Vancouver, British Columbia. TED's media initiatives include TED.com, where fresh TED Talks are posted daily; the Open Translation Project, offering subtitles and translations from global volunteers; and TED-Ed, an educational initiative. TED also supports change-makers through the TED Prize, helping visionaries turn ideas into action, as well as TEDx, which empowers local, self-organized TED-style events worldwide.
