Tedxnitksurathkal

The idea of TED was conceived with the vision of exposing the masses to great ideas, under precisely that slogan -'Ideas Worth Spreading'. TED which stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design started as a one off event in 1984 but grew into a series of annual conferences in 1990, and is now the global benchmark for speakers and enthusiasts alike to interact for new ideas in a vast variety of fields. In order to facilitate a greater exchange of ideas, conferences under the name TEDx began to be held and are independently organised of TED. As a result, several organisations and educational institutions have benefited due to the sheer splendour of the TEDx speakers. TEDxNITKSurathkal is in its fifth edition this year, having previously been conducted in 2018, 2017, 2016 and 2011. The event has grown in scale each year and we expect a spectacular evening of enriching ideas this year around as well.
