We are a community-organized TED-like event. Our agenda is to make great ideas accessible and spark conversation, in the center of Odense. Bringing together a community of changemakers. We create a space where we expand our perceptions and make people think. We involve people in the ideas of tomorrow. We find new ways to develop ourself and our mind- What is the difference between TED and TEDx? TED Technology, Entertainment, Design - invites the world’s leading thinkers and doers to present their latest “Ideas Worth Spreading.” First held in 1984 as an annual event in California, TED was acquired from its founder, Richard Saul Wurman, in 2001 by Chris Anderson’s Sapling Foundation and developed into a multi-media/experience platform. Past speakers include Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Ray Kurzweil, Paola Antonelli, Frank Gehry, Sheryl Sandberg, Gordon Brown, Dan Ariely, and Bono. In the spirit of "Ideas Worth Spreading," TED created the TEDx platform - where x = independently organized TED event - empowering people around the world to organize their own events and unite their communities in a TED-like experience, under TED’s guidance. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks videos and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection among the local community.
