Tedxpetropolis

Have you heard about TED? TED is a non-profit organization with the mission of sharing ideas world wide. Aiming to share even more TED offers TEDx licenses - independently organized events with the quality and similar to TED. TEDx is present in over cities around the world and we are the first one in the mountain region of Rio de Janeiro, most specifically in Petropolis. TEDxPetropolis was born in 2016, due to the encounter of young and bould people who wants to change the world and thought: why not start with our hometown? Therefore, we have as mission- promoting positive ideas for a better future for the city- position the city of Petrópolis as an intellectual and cultural center- and disseminate ideas that can contribute to the day-to-day life of the petropolitan society. In 2019 we had our third edition and we are already organizing ourselves for a next edition in 2020.
