Tedxtokyo Yz

TEDxTokyo yz is an off-shoot of TEDxTokyo. “yz” started with a conference on June 19th, 2010 and is growing into a community of entrepreneurial and innovative young doers in the Tokyo area, dedicated to making a positive impact on society and taking concrete steps towards a sustainable future. In addition to following the spirit of TED’s “Ideas worth spreading” within this crowd, we are motivating and enabling talented young people to make a difference as they are just starting their journey. We are doing this by sharing connections, information, forums, and inspiration. While having comfortable overlap with the TEDxTokyo community, “yz” has developed its own flavor. Although not as a strict rule, “yz” participants tend to be younger and are at earlier stages of their journey. Accordingly, “yz” events and community will be governed more freely and with less exclusivity. TEDxTokyo yz plans to continue to grow organically after every event, both with regular follow-on events and on-line. We look forward to hearing how we can help you make a difference in the world.
