Tehqeeq is a research and development company with a dynamic team of career researchers and development professionals. The team members of Tehqeeq have worked under the auspices of several internationally acclaimed organizations, and they had the opportunity to understand the intricacies of policy and development sector in the country. They learnt over time that the burgeoning development sector in Pakistan can only realize its potential if the disconnect between research and policy sectors of Pakistan is addressed. Tehqeeq has been formed with a view to bridge this gap by benefitting from the services of researchers who believe in innovation and entrepreneurship. The core members of Tehqeeq have a wide range of experience undertaking research on sociopolitical issues in Pakistan. Of late, they have successfully executed research projects on social mobilization, worst forms of child labor, youth development, disaster management, mental health issues among young population, women empowerment, conflict transformation and countering violent extremism among youth. They have also led several initiatives to inform policy and to develop action plans to further the socioeconomic development of Pakistan. Some of the major endeavors of this young team include the development of youth policy in all the provinces of Pakistan, building steering committees of legislators to counter violent extremism in Pakistan, and media campaigning of several health & educational issues. The team members of Tehqeeq have worked with several national and international organizations and excel in the areas of strategic planning, project management, institutional development, health, education, economy, gender issues, policing and security issues, community development, data analysis, field data collection, project review, monitoring and evaluation services, research services, development services, policy advocacy, training, and capacity building of social groups, communities and institutions.
