Tej Chauhan Ltd is a visionary, multi award winning creative practice specialising in holistic industrial design experiences and creative strategy. Our purpose and passion over the last 20 years has remained singular – to create excitement and lasting engagement for the brands we work with. Our work centres on the feelings objects have the potential to evoke, and the art of creating connection. We explore the role this plays in influencing one to reach for one object over another. We believe in the potential of any detail of any object to elicit joy. Focussing on delicate nuances in form language, colour and material, combined with an uncompromising approach to purpose and function, we seek to create iconic product experiences designed to engage not just existing audiences, but to open up new ones. Over the years we have developed this thinking into a strategic process we call Emotive Industrial Design. Its key objective is to help brands create connection. We have worked with companies such as Nike, Samsung, Ikea and Panasonic. Our projects have proven to generate commercial and marketing results. Examples include our first timepiece for Swiss watchmaker Rado becoming their No.1 seller in the US; our project for Lexus during New York Fashion Week becoming their most successful social media campaign in their history; and our design for Tesco’s tech startup sub-brand Hudl, selling a million units in one year, in one market, through only one channel – not big numbers for an established tech brand, but a resounding success for company known mainly for selling groceries. Awards and recognition include IDSA Gold & Silver, iF, Good Design, Grand Prix du Design Gold, D & AD, Cannes Lions, International Design Award, as well as shortlisted nominations for the Dezeen Awards, Elle Decoration British Design Awards and the Homes & Gardens Designer Awards. In 2023 we won three Red Dot design awards.
