We are a community interest company (CIC) working in the North East of England that: • Works with local communities to influence and improve the quality of health, wellbeing and social care services • Provides community engagement, research, evaluation and assessment services within the fields of health, wellbeing and social care • Provides training and development of skills for volunteers and the wider community • Provides information and advice to the general public about local health and social care services We also run Healthwatch Newcastle and Healthwatch Gateshead, which are two of 152 Healthwatch that work in each local authority area in England.
