We use real-time energy feedback to motivate people to change behavior and conserve resources. We start with an animated polar-when energy use is low, the bear is happy; when it's high the bear's well-being is endangered. Keep the bear happy and reduce energy use-it is that simple! And IT WORKS! Next, add competition, additional animations, detailed graphs and historical data, and you have a system that brings excitement, engagement and enthusiasm to people of all ages while motivating resource conservation.
