Tennra

Tennra is a Gamified crowdfunding platform for socially innovative projects. The platform combines the crowd pledging small amounts of money in exchange for rewards, with philanthropists and CSR departments pledging larger amounts, which must be ‘unlocked’ through the crowd completing puzzles and challenges. This hybrid model was specifically developed for the Egyptian market, since it increases engagement from all people, regardless of their socioeconomic background. Through hosting crowdfunding campaigns for social entrepreneurs and pro-social projects from all fields and sectors, Tennra ultimately aims to alleviate the problem of unemployment in Egypt by making social entrepreneurship a financially sustainable way of life and by realising the positive social impact of the country’s innovators.
