Carobbio is located in the Golden Valley in Panzano in Chianti, between Florence and Siena, in the middle of a natural amphitheater. The estate covers about fifty hectares, among ancient vineyards, olive groves and lush forests. In love with these places that recalled his origins, thirty years ago Carlo Novarese began a project to restore the lands, the vineyards and the cellars to their former glory, surrounding himself with a group of people who, with passion, still carry on his vision. Carobbio combines tradition with the most innovative techniques and cultivates its own vineyards producing important wines, of great vigor and aromatic complexity. OUR PRODUCTS The Classics: Carobbio Chianti Classico best expresses the peculiarities of a unique territory, thanks to its body, fullness and richness. Chianti Classico Riserva, made only in the best years, is produced by selecting the grapes of three vineyards, located on different soils: clayey in the lower part and rich in rocky components in the highest part, where galestro and alberese allow the grapes to express their best characteristics. The Cru: Leone (Sangiovese in purity), Pietraforte (Cabernet Sauvignon) and Magaldo (Merlot) are emblems of the perfect link between excellent quality and creativity. The young wines: Terra Rossa Rosato, obtained from the soft pressing of whole Sangiovese grapes, enhances their freshness, resulting in an elegant and enveloping wine, while Piluka Pinot Bianco represents a bold choice in a territory dominated by red grapes. The meditation: Vin Santo Occhio di Pernice, which offers a range of unexpected spicy aromas and flavors. The Extra vergin olive oil: obtained from cold pressing and under nitrogen, extra-virgin olive oil is produced exclusively from fruits harvested by hand from the company's olive groves.
