A South African, Cape Town-based company that was established in 2019. Passionate about aligning business, scientific solutions and technology. We enable other organisation by solving their problems, fine tuning their ideas, suggesting innovative ideas, and building the best cost effective solutions in a timely manner. Timeline: 5 February 2019: Teqoa (PTY) LTD was registered. 24 July 2019: Teqoa had a meeting with a representative from the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). 26 July 2019: Building of the Orchard Water Use App commenced. And first prototype of the application was made available to the CSIR representative after two weeks. 14 October 2019: After three months of commencement of the project, the first prototype of the Orchard Water Use App was made available to a few selected farmers. 11 November 2019: Teqoa signed a research collaboration contract with CSIR. The two organisations are collaborating in the field of "Agricultural Water Management". Teqoa is developing an Android and IOS application, and a service to compute and estimate: evapo-transpiration, transpiration and other useful parameters used in water management. In simple terms the application forecasts evapo-transpiration and transpiration which are used by farmers to estimate the amount of water they can use to irrigate their crops. The science behind the project is being researched by CSIR. Teqoa has already started working on the future versions of the application which involves a lot of exciting fourth industrial revolution technology.
