Tequia Experiences specializes in providing sightseeing excursions to the savvy traveler. All our tours have been designed to promote the cultural heritage of the Dominican people. The word Tequia, means guide, or teacher, in the language of the Tainos, the first people to populate the island in the caribbean where the Dominican Republic is located. Tequia Experiences is the only tour provider in the country whose offer concentrates in socially responsible and sustainable tourism. Part of the proceeds of all our tours are donated to the communities we visit, as well as institutions who preserve and maintain our destinations.
