Terrafertil was founded by three brothers from Ecuador, David, Raul, and Daniel Bermeo, using lessons from their father to create one of the first natural foods brands in Latin America. By simply valuing all that nature has to offer, Terrafertil offers a complete range of plant-based nutrition, sourced with respect and shared with pride in over 30 countries around the world. We are a pioneer of socially responsible ingredient sourcing and import the most quality ingredients from over 17 countries. Our teams work directly with over 1,300 farming families in Ecuador and Colombia to improve livelihoods and generate sustainable income. In the US, we are based in Torrance, California and sell two brands, Nature’s Heart and Essential Living Foods, to a variety of customers throughout the club, mass, conventional, and natural channels. Our mission is to make great tasting and healthy foods that are sourced responsibly and equitably from nature and have been a certified B Corp since 2007.
