Terrakotta Rishikesh

Terrakotta was born out of our desire to have a hillside home away from the pollution and hustle of the city. Originally planned as a private cottage in the classical European style, it is designed to embody our ideal of a mindful respite in the heart of the Tapovan valley in Rishikesh. All aspects of the hotel – from architecture to amenities, cuisine to textiles – have been curated to create a holistic, personalized experience that rejuvenates and inspires the weary traveler. The name Terrakotta itself (from terra cotta, Italian for “baked earth”) came to us in a moment of inspiration, to stand for a deep connection to the earth and a grounded, humble approach to hospitality.
