Terrantai Lodge Hotel

Terrantai is part of the so-called ‘typical zone’ of San Pedro de Atacama. For us, the preservation of the cultural heritage of this historic house is a priority. Each corner has been preserved in its original state, highlighting the identity of the Atacameño architecture. A small native hotel in the heart of San Pedro de Atacama. Terrantai is a historic 19th century home with a unique history and location. In 1980, the Chilean government declared the buildings constructed around the church of San Pedro de Atacama to be part of the “Historical Sector”. The construction of the hotel was carried out in 1996. The preservation of the cultural heritage of this historic house was and is a priority. The reception and lobby areas, as well as the rooms along the original corridors, have been preserved in their original state, preserving the originality of the Atacama architecture.
