Founded in 2016, Terrapin Geothermics Inc.(Terrapin) develops emission-free energy projects from heat to help clients decarbonize their operations and thrive in a net-zero world. An end-to-end project development firm, Terrapin specializes in generating clean, baseload electricity and heat from industrial waste heat and geothermal resources. Terrapin's waste heat recovery project development model focuses on maximizing value for the industrial client. This means that Terrapin identifies the most economical use of the waste heat resource; procures the best-in-class heat to power technology; manages the project from origination to completion; and finances the entire project using third-party capital.
