TESS was founded in Norway in 1968 and is owned by entrepreneur Erik Jølberg. The company is Norway's leading supplier of hoses, services and products for operation and maintenance. TESS has significant technical expertise and also provides services and goods such as welding machines, oil spill preparedness, environmental protection, cleaning machines, personal protection equipment, tools consumables and Hose Management System (THM). TESS follows its oil and gas customers globally through providing innovative technical solutions. Quality, expertise and capacity is primary focus in all service centers with more than 117 locations in Norway and global branches in Brazil, Denmark, UK, US, Singapore and Spain. Since 1968 TESS has provided and developed customized solutions aimed to increase uptime. TESS HQ is located in the center in Drammen (Norway), coordinating 900 employees world wide with turnover of NOK 2,872 billion in 2016.
