Tet Systems Gmbh

TET Systems GmbH is a privately held company located in Heidelberg, Germany. TET Systems was founded by Prof. Dr. H. Bujard and colleagues based on their invention of the Tet technology, the most widely used method to control gene expression in higher organisms. TET Systems owns a broad patent portfolio covering the technology organized in six patent families comprising 40 granted patents and patent applications. TET Systems markets licenses to the proprietary Tet technology and explores new business opportunities. TET Systems provides access to the Tet technology to for-profit entities via non-exclusive licenses for R&D uses and for other applications (diagnostics, HT screening manufacturing). The majority of vast multinational pharma companies are TET Systems' licensees.
