TETRA – Digital Health Solutions comes from the combination of clinical experience, bio-engineering competencies and new technologies, with the aim to restore the correct functionality of the whole masticatory system. Our mission is not only to align, but also to preserve the integrity, the shape and the function of human teeth.(Mission) TETRA plans the orthodontic treatment with the aim to fix the «causes», and not the «effects», of the bad dental occlusion. TETRA Technique is not only aimed to align teeth, but to fix disorders and implement a masticatory system requesting a low energy expenditure, reducing as much as possible fatigue wear for the parts composing it. Our final aim is to design and realise masticatory systems which, being efficient bio-machines, can move applying controlled forces and not as scales.(Purpose) TETRA analyses the masticatory system from a bio-mechanical point of view, identifying the elements which influence the movements and allow the dissipation of the forces generated during the activity of the system (i.e. chewing and swallowing). TETRA Technique is supported by detailed documentation regarding the masticatory system which will facilitate the communication and the explanation to the patients about their dysfunctions, about the objectives of the treatment and about any problems to reach them. TETRA Technique supports the continuous monitoring of the orthodontic treatment’s results, and allows to make changes during each course of therapy.
