I have been managing communication across languages, cultures, and disciplines over my 20+ years of experience working in Japanese pharma/CRO/academia, mostly as a project manager or liaison in clinical development, but I have also leveraged my communication skills in all other areas of drug development, including pre-clinical, business development, regulatory, etc. I am uniquely suited to do what I do thanks to the combination of my cultural-linguistic skills with my scientific training and business knowledge. Specifically, I speak English, Japanese, French, Mandarin, and Spanish fluently, and have lived for 10+ years each in Taiwan, Japan, and Canada. Also, I hold a PhD in cellular and molecular biology and an MBA in finance and international management.
