Architecture is arguably the most daring tradition of collective human effort. It is always, regardless scale, location, or budget, a communal endeavor. Because of this, it is uniquely suited to serve as a medium to rethink and restructure how we engage with ourselves, our communities, and our world at large. As a discipline of study and a professional practice, it is simultaneously specific in its solutions and universal in its aspirations to serve as a bellwether for possibility. Texas Architecture Workshop, or “Tex” as we affectionately quip, is founded on the belief that it is possible to quite literally build a better world, both on this planet and those we’ve yet to reach. Through unabashed curiosity we aim to create work that is beautiful, timeless, and most importantly filled with meaning. We are relentless in that pursuit.
