Texas Micropower Inc

Texsa Micropower is a recent startup in North Texas based on exclusive licensed IP and research and technology development partnerships with leading academic institutions and industry with a vision to apply well established semiconductor IC methodologies for high volume, low cost system development. It has been funded by Texas emerging Technology Fund in March 2008 and additional funds from NSF STTR grant s in 2008, 2009,2010 and is also collaborating with local industrial partners. TMP’s mission is to develop materials, devices, and circuit and system technologies for commercial products and solutions that will harvest energy from naturally-available sources such as human energy, wind, vibrations, or solar into micro-power transferred ideally into battery-free, isolated and remote electronic devices such as wireless sensors, medical implants or further complement traditional storage for portable electronics.
