Thacker and Company Ltd was established in 1878 as a financing company to cater the needs of private & public limited companies, proprietary & partnership firms in terms of granting loans & advances. It has over the tide of time expanded into a five-fold scope of operationswhich are known as the Thacker 5. As one of the oldest listed companies on the Bombay Stock Exchange Thacker grew from a trading company to one that has interests in Investments, Finance, Trading, Information Technology and FMCG – Thus the Thacker 5. Thacker and Company now owned by the Jatia Group is holding company of Fujisan Technologies Ltd launched in 2004 and Cakesmiths in 2014.
