Thai Smile Airways

THAI Smile is a brand-new subsidiary airline of THAI Airways which is operated under the management of Thai Smile Airways Company Limited. A brand positioning of Thai Smile is 'light premium'. A new range of products and services have been designed to meet the need to short-haul travellers while ensuring greatest comfort and convenience for a superior air travel experience. With the motto 'Trendy-Friendly-Worthy', modern lifestyle customers who emphasize on product selections and premium services at affordable prices will also discover a new flying experience on board THAI Smile. THAI Smile has been officially launched since 7 July 2012 under the Business Unit of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI). On 17 October 2013, THAI Smile was entered in the commercial register under the name of Thai Smile Airways Company Limited. THAI Smile utilizes the new Airbus A320-200 Aircraft. By the end of 2014, THAI Smile will have a total of seventeen new aircraft in its fleet and a total of twenty new aircraft by the end of 2015. THAI Smile operates under similar Airline Operator Certificate (AOC) as THAI, with the same airline code:"TG" and four digit flight numbers, for serving the shore-hual international flights. Commencing from April 10th, 2014 onwards, THAI smile will operate under a new airline code "WE" with three digit flight numbers together with the old "TG" code for domestic destinations only.
