Thailand Science Park

Thailand Science Park (TSP) was established in 2002. This Park overseen by the National Science and Technology Development Agency, NSTDA. It has a primary mission to promote innovation, R&D support to private sector, and provide the state of art infrastructure to enhance the country's innovation system. It offers comprehensive technology business services. Located adjacent to the Asian Institute of Technology, Thammasat University (Rangsit Center), and Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, the Park is home to 5 national research centers: National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), National Nanotechnology Center (NANOTEC), and National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC). TSP is a prime location for R&D activities, gathering more than researchers from various fields. It hosts over 120 Thai and foreign companies, with more than 40% being multinational companies from Japan, the United States, and Germany, respectively.
