Thali is a non-profit organization driven by the mission to combat apathy towards the less privileged and ensure that everyone has access to nourishing meals. Led by Zoone Hassan and a dedicated team of young professionals, we collect surplus food from restaurants, hotels, and catering services, making sure it reaches those in need. Our goal is to create lasting change in low-income communities by providing equal access to nutritious food for all. In 2009, during the largest displacement crisis in Pakistan's history, we raised an impressive PKR within seven days to support the Internally Displaced People (IDPs) of Swat. Since then, we have expanded our efforts and continue to make a profound impact on countless lives. With a deep understanding of the issue of food wastage in Pakistan, where 40% of food is wasted annually, we are committed to combating food insecurity. Through initiatives like "Be My Guest," our passionate volunteers personally collect surplus food from restaurants and deliver it by hand. We also prioritize the well-being of the less fortunate by providing healthy meals through our "Food for Thought" campaign, emphasizing the importance of proper nutrition. Additionally, our partnership with Dr. Mahru Nazish enables us to organize free medical and dental camps in urban slums, empowering the community through the "Smiles of Youth" program.
