Thames Christian School is coeducational independent secondary school with small classes, high expectations, strong pastoral care and a committed staff team. Pupils are valued as unique individuals and the school works to find the gifts and talents in each one. As a result the school achieves outstanding GCSE results. In the past its pupils have moved on to London's top independent and state sixth form colleges. In 2023 the option of staying at Thames was added by the opening of its own Sixth Form. Pupils participate in a rich programme of co-curricular activities, external events, competitions and local and international trips including an award winning annual trip to Tanzania, where they work alongside villagers in one of the poorest areas of the world to bring them clean water and health. In 2022 the school moved to purpose built premises adjacent to Clapham Junction Station. In 2024 the school's new home won a prestigious RIBA National Award for its stunning and creative design. The school’s strategic location makes it accessible from a wide area of London and the surrounding counties.
