Yawata Electrode (Thailand) Co, Ltd. was founded in 1973 on the outskirt of Bangkok, receiving initial know-how from Nippon Steel Welding Products and Engineering Co, Ltd.(currently known as Nippon Steel & Sumikin Welding Co, Ltd.), one of the world’s leading welding electrode producers, to manufacture arc welding electrodes. Since its inception, it has quickly developed and is capable of producing a full range of arc welding electrodes. In 1991, it commenced to produce CO2 (MIG) solid wires as well as TIG wires. Today, Yawata Electrode has become one of the leading producers of welding consumables that supports domestic market as well as international users in Asia, Europe, Australia and Africa for over 30 years. And in support of its growing demand, Thanyanoraseth, its sister company, was incorporated in 1994 in Nachon Ratchasima province. Yawata Electrode employs high standard of production with quality control at every step from raw material testing to finished product inspection to ensure highest quality products that deliver maximum satisfaction to our customers.
