That Beautiful Mind’ is aimed at parents like me, who look after children with special needs. My son, Alfie, is 6 and was diagnosed with autism and global development delay when he was 2.5. It has been my journey with him that has inspired me to start a blog to share our story and an online shop to help other parents like me to find unique products to help with our children’s communication, development, safety and fun. Our flagship product is a communications book,(designed by me) to quickly and easily communicate essential information daily between a parent or carer and a key worker/ teacher/ childminder. When Alfie was little, he was non verbal, and I spent endless hours writing in exercise books detailing all the vital and relevant information that his nursery teachers needed to know. They did the same daily, and we always wished there was an easier, quicker way to pass the information. So I created one. The communications book will be available to purchase (globally) in February 2019.
