The Akpan Daniel Foundation

The Akpan Daniel Foundation (ADF) is one of the few credible youth-led educational foundations, incorporated in september 2021 in response to the urgent need for youth involvement in the development of our nation. we are committed to educating the younger generation to be self-reliant through quality education at 'bud', thus accelerating local and national development and shunning anti-social activities such as terrorism, cultism, and drug abuse, amongst others. We are committed to also propelling those children who, for one reason or another, were unable to complete primary or secondary education to do so without stress, as well as any other children in need, to return to school. We believe that quality education is essential to the overall development of any society and it can be a Panacea in eliminating or reducing the negetive effects of anti-social activities that impede that development. We believe that weapons can only kill terrorists or cultists, but the ideology of terrorism, cultism, or other forms of extremism can only be reduced or elliminated thruogh quality education, and the younger generation, in particular, is in desperate need of this education because they will be the stewards of our society in the not-too-distant future. We are confident that, with God's help, we will be able to promote a more sane society for future generations and a self-reliant society in the future if we help enlighten and energize our younger generations with good knowledge and practical skills to recognize the importance of personal and collective responsibility in the building of our nation, and instill good moral principles and the understanding that the strength of our society or nation is strongly dependent on the character each of us exhibits. As a result, we aim to raise a generation of sustainability champions with a strong sense of personal and social responsibility, a clear vision, and faith in our State's and nation's common good.
