The All We Can Save Project

There’s a leadership crisis at the heart of the climate crisis, yet people are the heart of climate healing. That’s why The All We Can Save Project exists: to nurture the leadership we need for the future we want. Our Origin Story: We started with a bestselling anthology, All We Can Save—a collection of writings by 60 women leading on climate, co-edited by Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson and Dr. Katharine Wilkinson. But the mission was bigger than a book, so the two co-founded The All We Can Save Project, the nonprofit that Dr. Wilkinson continues to lead. Our Approach: If each of us can be a node of possibility for climate healing, how do we tend that possibility in ourselves and one another? We take a unique, holistic approach called the 8 Dynamics of Climate Engagement—a framework for supporting deep, sustained climate leadership. It shapes our programs and helps us understand our impact on thousands of climate doers, thinkers, and feelers. Our Flagship Program: Many of us feel stuck when it comes to climate engagement. Climate Wayfinding, our flagship program, helps people navigate from concern to clarity, courage, and contribution. Our community of facilitators is active on 75+ college and university campuses, with 100 additional facilitators training in 2026. A forthcoming book by Dr. Wilkinson will make the journey of Climate Wayfinding accessible to all. From welcoming the climate curious to enlivening the climate committed, we are doing the soulful movement building that’s needed now more than ever.
