The Appellate Project Tap

Appellate courts decide what our laws mean and how they apply to all of us—yet these decisions often come from courts that don't reflect the communities most impacted by them. The Appellate Project (TAP) was founded to change that. As the first national organization dedicated to building a more just and representative appellate field, TAP empowers emerging leaders in the field of law through professional development, expanded access, and a broader community to support this next generation in appellate law. Our goal is to create an appellate system where advocates, judges, and rulings reflect the communities they most impact.
