Welcome to our new classes on Gutter Fighting and Jujitsu based on the fighting techniques of Fairbairn and Sykes for real self-defence. These classes are led by David Oakley, a highly qualified instructor, and the author of the book "Hard Target". David is a specialist in physical intervention and conflict management with over 20 years of experience in teaching and training individuals and organizations. He will be sharing his knowledge and expertise in teaching you simple and effective techniques that have been proven to be highly effective in real-world situations. Developed by William E. Fairbairn and Eric A. Sykes, experts in the field of hand-to-hand combat during World War II, the techniques you will learn are specifically tailored for self-defence and are designed to neutralize an attacker quickly and efficiently. Our Gutter Fighting class will focus on the principles of close-quarters combat, including strikes, kicks, and grappling, and our Jujitsu class will teach you the traditional art of leverage and control using simple techniques. All classes are open to men and women of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to experienced martial artists.
