The Biblecodesundays

The mix of folk and modern music forms the unique sound which is The BibleCodeSundays. The BibleCodeSundays debut album Ghosts of Our Past was born mostly out of frustration that no one band was really hitting the mark. Included on this debut album are three songs written for Mike O'Dea's Boston-Irish movie Code of Silence which will be produced by Michael Z Gordon, the producer of the movie Narc which starred Ray Liotta. The band proved to be a popular one on the London Irish scene and were voted winners by readers of The Irish World newspaper for the award of 'Best Band on London Circuit 2006'. Since then, as well as recording a second album Boots or No Boots, The BibleCodeSundays have played on the pitch of both Celtic Park in Glasgow before 62 people and the Madjeski Stadium - home to London Irish RFC. They have shared the stage with Chicago Irish punk band The Tossers on their UK tour, along with Damien Dempsey and Aslan. The year 2009 proved to be an even greater year for the band after signing to New York record label Cosmic Trigger, appearing live on US national radio St Patrick's Day Special "Kiss Me I'm Imus" presented by the legendary Don Imus and supporting The Dropkick Murphys in Boston on St. Patrick's Night! The band are made up of Ronan MacManus (son of Ross & brother of Declan aka Elvis Costello), Andy Nolan (ex Shane MacGowan & the Popes), Carlton Hunt (ex Bad Manners), Enda Mulloy (son of Tom from the legendary Mulloy Brothers), and the most exciting fiddle player on the London Irish music scene Patrick Franklin. These original members along with new boy Kian Chanter, a guitarist/singer, have created this remarkable band that represents both the history and the future of Irish music.
