The Boleyn Trust

Boleyn Trust promotes the entitlement and life chances of pupils in similar contextual settings. We are passionate about high expectations and outcomes for all our pupils. Our schools have strong capacity to support other neighbourhood schools in challenging circumstances. Within our trust, we have an established Teaching School offering strategic support to schools across London. We also have the East London School Centred Initial Teacher Training Facility where we train over 50 teachers each year. This additional strength gives us strong capacity to increase our number of schools within the Trust over future years. We believe that all our schools should retain their own independence and be at the centre of their communities. Our schools still have their own ethos, independence and substantive Headteacher supported by the strengths of the Trust. The Boleyn Trust is directly funded by the Department for Education and is accountable through rigorous scrutiny by the Education and Skills Funding Agency and Ofsted. The Boleyn Trust works in close partnership with the London Borough of Newham to support other local schools.
